These herbal remedies for snoring are effective if you find that your clogged nasal passages cause the snoring. Natural relief to help you stop snoring
The next thing to consider are the multitude of environmental elements that could be causing your snoring problem. Some suffers might not even realize they have an allergy problem. It could be brought on by feathers, animal dander, plants, pollen and even your sheets and bedding. Try to fix this situation and see if this alleviates your symptoms. Otherwise try these natural remedies.

Ginger – Alleviates allergy inflammation. Take 1,000 milligrams three to four times a day.

Chamomile Tea – It helps you prevent a swollen nasal passage. Drink 1 – 2 cups a day.

Chamomile Cream -  Rub it on your diaphragm in order to improve your breathing and relax your muscles.

Chen-Pi – Is used to alleviate allergies. It’s dried tangerine orange peel but it also comes in liquid form in a tincture glass. In 1/4 cup of water, take 10-15 drops three times a day.

Horseradish – Helps to ease congestion. Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of prepared horseradish daily until your symptoms improve.

Rooibos Tea – Acts as a natural antihistamine.

Stinging Nettle – Provide dramatic relief from hay fever.

Thymus Extracts – Shortens the frequency and duration nasal allergies. It prevents the immune system from releasing chemicals that trigger allergic reactions. Take 750 milligrams once a day.

Neti Pot -  Another home remedy is to use a Neti Pot with a saline solution to clean out the nasal passages. You can buy these pots in kits. Please read more about Neti Pots in the “Home Remedies” section.

These herbal remedies for snoring should give you some relief if you are a nasal snorer.  Although please consult your doctor before trying any of these remedies. If taken internally, they may interact with any other medications you may be taking.   You can also try aromatherapy to clear out your nasal passages while you sleep.

You can use aromatherapy with essential oils to help you breath easier and reduce or eliminate snoring. Use an aroma lamp or vaporizer to enhance the smell of the aromatic oils such as peppermint, eucalyptus, marjoram or lavender.

Stop snoring with aromatherapy

Before you go to bed, drink a ginger based tea with honey. This coats your throat and acts as a decongestant.

Add Peppermint or Eucalyptus oil to a humidifier or vaporizer. This will help to break up congestion and ease breathing.

Marjoram Oil – You can keep a bottle open one hour before you go to bed at night. Just note that it’s not meant to be put on the skin.

Lavender – A natural antihistamine. You will feel relief in minutes! Make sure that you get the pure, therapeutic grade Lavender.
Apply it topically - Use it as needed by rubbing one drop to your sinus area, forehead and cheeks.
Breath it In – You can also take a couple of drops in the palm of your hand, rub them together and breath in 4-6 breaths. You can also  inhale it by using it with a cold air diffuser every 2 hours for 15 minutes at a time.

RC Essential Oil – It’s a blend of essential oils that include peppermint, lavender, marjoram, spruce, pine and eucalyptus.
Apply it topically – As needed by rubbing one drop to your cheeks, forehead and sinuses, as needed. Just one note. If you have sensitive skin, its a good idea to dilute one drop of RC with one drop of organic olive oil. You can also dab the end of a Q-tip and put it inside your nose.
Breath it In – You can also take a couple of drops in the palm of your hand, rub them together and breath in 4-6 breaths.  Use it with a cold air diffuser as often as you need.

Eucalyptus - The best and safest one to get is Eucalyptus radiata.
Apply it topically – Rub 1 drop of Eucalyptus radiata mixed with 1 drop of organic olive oil. Add it to you sinus area, forehead and cheeks.
Breath it in – Apply 1 drop to your palms and cup over your nose. Take 4-6 deep breaths as often as needed. You can also add a few drops to use with a cold air diffuser.
